Alaska scenery, like the fishing here, is on a whole different level! For us who are fortunate enough to call this amazing place home, the Alaska scenery never gets old. It grows on us even more and becomes the threshold in which all other places are measured. It is not just the fish in which we here at FishHound pursue, it is the places they inhabit! So much of Alaska fishing is focused just on the fish that people are willing to stand shoulder to shoulder to experience it. It really doesn’t have to be that way. Alaska is such a massive state and has more rivers and lakes that one could be here 5 life times and only scratch the surface.
Like the fishing, Alaska scenery is varied and expansive. Huge mountains to vast coastal plains, from sea level to the high alpine, it is incredible everywhere we go to chase fish. Clients have commented countless times that the views from all our camps and even the bathrooms is beyond anything they could have ever imagined! From the expansive Alaska scenery, the wildlife, the beautiful wild fish, picturesque camps, and great food we will try our best to make sure that you come home with your own pictures to show friends and family and the hopes that future places you visit will be held to the bar that Alaska sets.
Throughout our website we have tried to relate the beauty of this place through the pictures, though photos do it no justice especially viewed on a computer screen or phone screen. Even the most talented of photographers are not able to capture the grandeur and awe this place has inspired.
